Incorporating printer drivesr (AcrobatPDFWriter) in VFP applications
 (Romania)

If possible, How could  I insert in a VFP application (created with Microsoft VFP 6.0) the AcrobatPDFWriter printer driver, (4 version) whos reports ( .frx files ) are based on?

The application must run on computers that do not have this printer driver!

Thanks!

best regards,

Cora

Hi there

There is no way to incorporate the driver. The main problem is the Acrobat PDF Writer printer driver is owned by Adobe and you don't have the rights to distribute it.

However, there are several free PDF drivers available, which do the same job fairly well. You can distribute those as installation kits and your users must install them in their systems. Check www.primopdf.com, www.cutepdf.com. I personally use cutepdf and have no problems with it whatsoever.
