Marti, 27 iunie 2006, la Hotel Marriott va avea loc o intalnire dedicata arhitectilor software din Romania, organizata de Microsoft Romania. Se numeste "Solution Architect Forum" si face parte dintr-o serie de astfel de evenimente, organizate anual.

Microsoft a oferit 5 locuri gratuite pentru ProFox. Daca doriti sa participati va rog sa va inscrieti in acest thread. Este important ca aceste locuri sa fie ocupate de arhitectii software (definitie: cei care gandesc, proiecteaza si/sau decid solutii software).

Software Factories Today and Tomorrow

A software factory is a development environment configured to support the rapid production of a specific type of application through a custom collection of assets organized by a graph of viewpoints. By introducing patterns of industrialization, software factories promise to drive the evolution of software development methods and change the character of the software industry. This forum specifically addresses assets that can be realized with today’s technology such as Visual Studio Team Systems, the Domain Specific Language Toolkit (DSL Toolkit) and the Guidance Automation Toolkit (GAT). Software Factories is a Microsoft effort to evolve beyond the universal, one-size-fits-all approach to constructing, deploying, and managing software.

Speaker bio:

Beat Schwegler is an Architect for Microsoft EMEA (Europe, Middle East and Africa), supporting and consulting with large companies in software architecture related topics, and is a frequent speaker at international events and conferences. He has more than 13 years of experience in professional software development and architecture and was involved in a wide variety of projects, ranging from real-time building control systems, best selling shrink-wrapped products to large scale CRM and ERP systems. For the last three years, his main focus was in the area of service orientation and Web services.

Asa cum v-am obisnuit deja, dupa prezentarile lui Beat, vom avea si un studiu de caz local, in care vom vedea descrierea unui pilot de Software Factories realizat de Totalsoft. Am sa-l citez pe Florin Manea: “…vom prezenta (atentie, intr-un mod critic) experienta noastra in acest domeniu”.
